Babu Shankar, originally from India, was introduced to the UU fellowship in 1977, by one of his professors at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.  He has been an UU member for the last 45 years. He still follows his Hindu heritage and has been able to co mingle in both places of Worship. He is a retired Architectural Lighting Designer and completed projects in 33 different countries. He joined our Church in 1987 and has been part of various Committees, throughout the years.

He feels blessed to be part of this like minded Community, and believes in the Principles of our Organization. His interest in becoming a treasurer is to sustain and to improve the financial health of our Church and pass on the legacy that we inherited , to the future Generation of  this Beloved Place.
