Jessica Kado


Jessica Kado has been a part of the Unitarian Universalist communities in Indiana, Chicago, and now Studio City. She and her husband Brent and son Jennings are members of UU Studio City. 


Jessica is an artist and educator. She is a graduate of The Second City Chicago and is now pursuing her masters in English at Indiana University (remote). Jessica has worked in Chicago and Los Angeles as a writer, performer, and arts administrator. She and her husband have written and produced films under their company Flowfeel Arts. In 2010 she founded the Chicago Comedy Film Festival and in 2020 opened the Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival. As an educator she has taught improv to adults and youth, as well as has taught college English classes.


Jessica believes that art is a form of spiritual practice and humor connects us, even in the darkest moments. She used to look like this picture.
