OWL – Our Whole Lives

OWL is the most extensive and thorough sex education curriculum in the world, with programs appropriate for all ages.  In addition to basic biology, these courses cover the affirmation of various stages of developing sexuality, including the facts about STDs and pregnancy, LGBTQ identities, social questions such as peer pressure, safe boundaries, and how to decide when they are ready to be sexually active.

As part of the ministries offered to the larger community of which we are a part, UUCSC is proud to partner with More Than Sex Ed, a Los Angeles based nonprofit educational outreach project of Community Partners®, to offer the curriculum designed for middle school youth, which is based on the OWL program from the UUA.
