Welcome to the third year of Men of UU Studio City. More than 40 men of the congregation have participated in our programs. This year, we have put together a diverse, challenging, and fun slate of programs to help us get to know each other better, serve our community better, and become better men.
- In September, environmentalist Michael Beck of the Sierra Club will be giving us some cold facts about global warming.
- In October, member Richard Roller’s film about the “houseless” in the SF Valley will be shown as a church fundraiser.
- In November, we will all learn to rap (that’s the music, not what you do with a hammer) when Michael Gendler and his Flowmaster crew teach us how to amplify our voices through rap and hip hop.
This year, we continue our contribution to the Sunday morning service with our ongoing assistance with the Joys and Sorrows portion of the service. We also contribute on Saturday mornings when the Building and Grounds Committee schedules a work party.
Please join us at our monthly events. You’ll find new friends and genuine support at UU Church of Studio City. You do not have to be a member of UUCSC or even be a Unitarian Universalist to participate. We welcome all men of good will who are looking for a community where they can contribute and be known.
