New to UU and UUCSC is offered quarterly. In this 1.5 hours class, newcomers learn about Unitarian Universalism, including our history and introduction to our Living Tradition and the history/tour of our beloved Church.
Chalice Circles is our small group ministry program. Spiritual topics are discussed in a committed, facilitated, small group setting.
Gentle Yoga with Bonnie, Do something soothing for your mind and body. Join Gentle Yoga with Bonnie on Fridays at 11:00 AM On Zoom. No experience is needed, just comfortable clothes, maybe a blanket, and yoga blocks if you have them. Donations are welcome and half of the donations collected will go to support our church. The Gun Violence Prevention Promise was launched in the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy. They plan educational and witness events in support of the movement to prevent gun violence. The group is currently on hiatus.
"Laugh Out Proud L.A." LGBTQ Comedy Night in Studio City, gather together with an array of fine talent from LA’s top comedy clubs to entertain our audience. We are building a community that appreciates comedy and supports LGBTQ identity. Straight allies are welcomed too, of course, as we laugh our way through the current crisis. The UUCSC Choir welcomes everyone who loves to sing. We are an enthusiastic group of people who are passionate about making great music. If you are interested in adding your musical talents to the worship service, or have any questions about the music program, please contact our Music Director.
