It’s laughter and encouragement for progressive-minded people who need a lot of both. With his wife and co-writer Melanie Harby, Roy is celebrating the release of “This Machine: The Best of Roy Zimmerman,” a double album set containing their runaway song parody “Vote Him Away (The Liar Tweets Tonight).” Joni Mitchell says, “Roy’s lyrics move beyond poetry and achieve perfection.”
