Interim Minister
From 1996 to 1998, Rev. Rick Hoyt-McDaniels was our student intern. In 1998, he received a Masters of Divinity from the Claremont School of Theology and was ordained and fellowshipped. For the next 24 years he served several congregations in the Los Angeles area, was a member of the Board of the California Justice Minister, and filled two terms as President of the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the UU Ministers Association. He received the PSWD award for distinguished service in 2011. We are happy to have him back at UUCSC as our Interim Minister.
