Jenny Ashe grew up in Atlanta and came of age in Manhattan. Along the way she studied at Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, American Ballet Theater School, HB Studios, The Neighborhood Playhouse, amongst others and enjoyed a 10-year career as an actor in NY. She moved to Los Angeles to continue that career and ended up starting a family instead. She opened her own business in 1998 and though different since COVID, it is still thriving to this day. She began her own theater company, has served on several theater boards and navigated non-profit budgeting and finances.
She started her UU journey in this church to bring a sense of spirituality to her children. She liked the idea that they would learn the essence of many different religions and how we are all part of the interconnected web of life. She found herself deeply involved almost immediately. She finally became a member of this church in 2009 and after a long hiatus, is thrilled to be serving this community once more.
