Happy post Groundhog day. As the tradition goes, if the groundhog sees its shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. No shadow, and spring is arriving early this year.
The Stewardship Team has been reviewing our own congregation’s shadows regarding pledge receipts. So far, we are shadow free in our pledge collections for the year. We are on track through January of this year to meet our current pledge goals.
Congratulations to the people who have made contributions already and we look forward to everyone continuing to honor their pledge commitments. Your timely pledge support helps us stave away more weeks of financial winter, and lets us all celebrate our way to a full pledge fulfillment and an early spring.
Each of us complete our roles as stewards in many different ways. We each contribute our unique combination of time, talents and treasure.
The ability of the congregation to exceed our expectations while meeting our external commitments depends on all of us contributing in our own way. I would like to thank each of you for your contributions to our congregation, and the special way that you show your stewardship to our church.
BIG THANKS!
