The UCLA American Indian Studies Program is organizing a community outreach and volunteer opportunity at the Kuruvungna Springs in West LA. Later in the year, we will be organizing an RE field trip to this location. You can find out more about the site here.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the site, to be of service to those on whose lands we live our lives, and to get to know people associated with the American Indian peoples of Los Angeles. It’s also a lovely place to visit.
