Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City

Community

Community is one of the most important values of our congregation. We try to get to know each other better and we enjoy being together, so we plan outside events that enable us to spend time with each other.

F.R.E.D. (Fellowship, Religious Exploration, and Dinner)

Our FRED dinners foster community and fellowship. We gather monthly with friends old and new to enjoy a family-style meal while we explore topics of spirituality. We prepare delicious and healthy dinners with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. All are welcome—none are turned away for lack of funds.

Specialty Dinners

Three to four times a year, we have a Saturday night gathering of around eight people. One person hosts, another person cooks, and the guests enjoy dinner “out”! Responsibilities for hosting and cooking rotate, as do the guest lists, so by the end of the year, folks have gotten to know many people within the congregation. It’s a great time to get to know new people and eat a wonderful home-cooked meal.
